Specifying the final details of its direct establishment in Chile, the Japanese automaker Nissan announced yesterday that it will have a network of twenty dealerships in the country.
Nissan Chile team will be led by CEO Santiago Castro, who has over 20 years experience in the regional automotive category.
The executive, who is already seated at the offices of the Japanese in Santiago, which are located in the building Titanium, launched during the first quarter the first functions defined by the team, which pointed to deeply analyze the needs and opportunities brand in the local market.
"Together with our dealer network, we are exploring opportunities to lay the foundation for sustained long-term (in the country) growth," Castro said.
Nissan Chile will lead all business areas of the company, comprising import management, corporate and commercial.
The company also said its direct arrival respond to potential and growing interest in the Chilean market, which have been classified as "one of the most competitive in the world."
Since last year, Nissan has shown a growing development in the region, following the establishment of its Latin American division, which brings together a total of 38 countries including Chile.
The opening of the national subsidiary is part of the latest developments in the region.
